HW #6 Philosophical Idea
Having a social contract, in some way gave people a sense of protection, even though they gave up a piece of their freedom. Having a government to control and keep the nation is what every country needs. Without a government people could do what ever they wanted with no consequences, which could later lead to chaos. Having a government keeps people from causing chaos because they know there is a "price" to pay if they fail to obey the laws. I agree with this in some way because we do need to know whats right and wrong, and whats good and bad. By having a government and laws shows us exactly that.

Good Blog, but you could have written the first sentence in a different manner. " Social contract provided people with a sense of protection. the downside of this protection was that people had to give up some personal freedoms". Also you didn't speak about Hobbes and lockes ideas. if you want full credit re-do this post.
